Dr. Fatima Khan is a licensed and board certified Optometrist who grew up in the town of Richmond Hill, just outside Toronto.


She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Waterloo and earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She completed clinical externships at the esteemed Aker Kasten Eye Center and the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in West Palm Beach, which has been consistently ranked the #1 Eye Hospital in the US. Dr. Khan has extensive training in ocular disease, public health and provides both primary and emergency medical care to patients using the latest technology practices available.


Throughout Optometry school Dr. Khan participated in Yoga for the Blind, assisting blind community members with their positioning. In the summer she worked in community fairs conducting vision screenings on children to ensure that each child started the following school year with the ability to see the board. Dr. Khan is a professional member of Canadian Association of Optometrists and Ontario Association of Optometrists.


Dr. Khan currently resides in downtown Toronto with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, reading, and trying new restaurants in the city. Ask her about her fav resto picks!
