Well last year was another weird school year! The time to go back is just around the corner. This year both parents and students need a well-deserved change of scenery. Parents will have less bodies to watch, kids can be kids again, and post-education students can have a beer after a long day of lectures with their friends. THE THINGS WE TOOK FOR GRANTED BEFORE!! RIGHT!!??
Before going back, it is so important to ensure that vision is perfect, eyes are working well together, and that they are healthy. Children are the ultimate adaptors and will try to compensate for problems with vision without verbalizing it. They don’t know they are having a problem because they think it is normal. If problems are detected early, they can be treated.
FACT TIME!
DISTANCE VISION WILL BE IMPORTANT AGAIN!!
For the last 1.5 years students’ vision has been focusing on only near activities. When returning to school the board and lecture hall distance vision will become more important again. Better vision improves productivity and learning capability.
No matter what age you are you may not know what you are missing because things change so slowly.
A little normalcy will never look as beautiful as with perfect vision. So, bring the entire family in this month to get your eye health examined! September is an exciting time for everyone, so enjoy the freedom of school at all ends of the spectrum!!
